Faenza is a city of roman origins situated in the north-east of Italy, in the region called Emilia-Romagna. The city is very close both the hills, Appennini, and to the seaside, Mar Adriatico and it is not so far from beautiful cities like Ravenna, Rimini and the Republic of San Marino.

Faenza is a very dynamic city, that already hosted many important sport events and is ready for the Tug-of-War challenge.

Not only the city as a strong sport culture, but it is also well known all over Italy for its beauty and its important history. Faenza is a splendid city of art already renowned in the Renaissance period for its production of exquisitely made pottery exported all over Europe.

Faenza offers one of the world's most beautiful and most complete art collections: the International Ceramic Museum. The city is famous also for its thermal baths in Riolo Terme, just a few kilometres far from the city.
